DO NOT put Siamese Algae Eater (SAE), Crossocheilus siamensis, in your planted tank that contains Aquatic Moss. I repeat, DO NOT put Siamese Algae Eater (SAE), Crossocheilus siamensis, in your moss tank.

From all my past experiences, it has shown that Siamese Algae Eater (SAE), Crossocheilus siamensis, will mown the aquatic moss down to the skeletons.

The following pictures will show you just how destructive these Siamese Algae Eater (SAE), Crossocheilus siamensis, are to the aquatic moss.

 

I've tied a few leaves of Taiwan Moss to a fishing line:

 

The moss was being hung in my tank containg 3 fat Siamese Algae Eater (SAE), Crossocheilus siamensis:

 

Within minutes, the Siamese Algae Eater (SAE), Crossocheilus siamensis, attacked:

One hour later, this was the resultant Taiwan Moss:
